Abbey Le Cornu as "Vanessa"
Originally from Australia, Abbey has appeared in several Australian TV dramas ("Blue Heelers" and "Neighbours") as well as various other productions in her native country. While living in Cayman, she has appeared in a variety of theatre productions, including "Rumors," "CayTube Live" and "Blood Wedding."Says Abbey, "The Devil You Know is a fantastic opportunity - not only for everyone involved, but also for the Cayman Islands to showcase it's talent and everything it has to offer on an international level."Abbey currently works as an Executive Assistant at KRyS Global
Ronnie James Hughes as "Bishop"
Ronnie is a former PTI (Physical Training Instructor) of Her Majesties Royal Navy PT specialist branch. He passed top of his class with highest honors and served over a decade for his country. During this time he trained personnel ranging from Royal Marines & Commanding Officers through to new recruits & civilians worldwide. He is an Instructor of both Gracie Jiu Jitsu & Israeli Krav Maga having trained in Israel (with Yigal Arbriv), Poland (with Krzysztof Sawicki), UK and the United States under the tutelage of some of the world’s top black belts of Krav Maga.
Lindsay Japal as “Izzy”
Lindsay Japal is the reigning Miss Cayman and has taken part in the internationally televised Miss World and Miss Universe pageants.Lindsay has acted in commercials for Chi hair products, the The National Trust of the Cayman Islands, and the Cayman Islands Department of Tourism. This latter video aired on NBC during the Today Show broadcasts. She has also appeared in local band "The iZ's" music video, “Mind Trip.”
Matthew Leslie as "Josh"
Matthew is a successful local businessman who has made a name for himself over the years with his professional and community work. No stranger to TV, Matthew was the host of the popular teen talk-show “Spotlight” which ran for three seasons in Cayman. Having a background in theatre both here and in the USA, Matthew has developed a love for the arts. A regular MC at some of Cayman’s largest events as well as an organiser for many, he is no stranger to the public eye. When not travelling around the world, he finds himself at his home on Seven Mile Beach enjoying short films and reading.Matthew Leslie is the Managing Director of Titan Group of Companies.
Julia Flanagan as “Renee”
Julia received a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from Arizona State University, where she concentrated on acting, and studied the Meisner and Stanislavski Methods. She furthered her training at the Larry Moss Studio and The Groundlings in LA.Julia has a wealth of acting experience. She has acted in eight films including feature films, a few shorts, and a History Channel documentary called "Mysteries of the Garden of Eden" where she played Eve. She also taken part in many theatre productions, playing the role of Juliet in "Romeo and Juliet," Emily in "Our Town" and the wicked step-mother in "The Ash Girl." In addition, she did a lot of web-hosting in LA. She has most recently acted in the Cayman Drama Society’s “Importance of Being Earnest” as Gwendolen.She can be found on IMDB under the name Julia Fazakerly.
Hamish Sturgeon as "Alexi"
Born in the Cayman Islands, Hamish is an actor based primarily in the UK. He has a BA (Hons) in English and Drama and trained extensively with the prestigious David Johnson Theatre School. He has appeared in numerous stage, TV and film productions, most notably the acclaimed BBC productions "Moving On" written by Jimmy McGovern and "The Village".
His stage credits include "Time and The Conway's" (in which he won a Best Supporting Actor theatre award) and "The Benefit of Time" which toured nationally and went on to be recorded for Radio Four.
Kate Macpherson as "Rachel"
Kate is a local radio star on both X107.1 and Cayrock and has worked in radio and television for over 7 years now. Originally from Australia, Kate has a background in Theatre studies, a Bachelor in Arts Communications and a Post Graduate Diploma in Broadcasting from The Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts.
Before moving to the Cayman Islands, Kate had her own radio show at Nova, one of the top networks in Australia and was nominated for Best Newcomer On Air at the Australian Commercial Radio Awards in 2010.
